Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Valley of the Roses – Dadès Gorges

Begin your adventure as Marrakech Service Tours picks you up from your hotel, riad, or the airport. Our journey takes us through the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, offering panoramic views from its 2,260 meters.

Traverse through the Atlas Mountains to reach the iconic Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a renowned filming location for blockbuster movies. Continuing our route along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, we’ll explore Skoura and Kelaat M’Gouna, before finally arriving at the breathtaking Dadès Gorges for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dadès Gorges – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga

After a hearty breakfast, we venture into the stunning Dadès Valley, passing through the incredible Todgha Gorges where we’ll pause for lunch. Energized and ready for more, we proceed towards Merzouga, passing through the renowned Jorf palm grove and Erfoud, famous for its fossil fragments.

Upon reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, we switch to camels for a magical journey into the desert. Arriving at our Bedouin camp, nestled amidst the dunes, we’ll indulge in a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Tizi N’Tfrkhin – Ouarzazate

Wake up to the enchanting sight of the desert sunrise, marking the beginning of a magical day. After breakfast, we explore the desert surroundings on camelback, soaking in the tranquility of the Sahara.

Our return journey to Ouarzazate takes us through a different route, passing by the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the historic town of Rissani. We’ll traverse the stunning Anti-Atlas mountain range, marveling at its vibrant colors and unique formations. Lunch will be enjoyed in Klaat M’Gouna before continuing our route to Ouarzazate, where we’ll spend the night in a hotel or kasbah.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast, the morning is yours to explore Ouarzazate at your leisure. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the renowned Atlas Film Studios, known as the Hollywood of the desert. We’ll depart from Ouarzazate between 12 pm and 3:30 pm, dropping you off back in Marrakech in the early afternoon.

Accommodation Options

Choose between standard (2-3 stars) and luxury (4 stars) accommodations:

– Standard Hotels: Kasbah Tifawe / Dar Essyaha or similar (Dadès), Haima Camp (Merzouga), and Hotel Les Jardins / Hotel Azoul or similar (Ouarzazate).

– Luxury Hotels: Azawad Luxury Desert Camp or similar (Merzouga). Accommodations in Dadès and Ouarzazate are the same as standard hotels.

Both standard and luxury accommodations offer double occupancy, with the option for triple or family rooms. Standard category rooms feature communal showers in the camp, while superior category rooms boast private bathrooms in the haimas and showers in the camp.

For guests staying in the Medina, please proceed to the designated meeting point. Marrakech Service Tours offers complimentary hotel or riad pickup for guests staying outside the Medina. Pickup from hotels outside Marrakech incurs an additional charge based on distance.
